Latest NewsLunch Time Arrangements from September 2010 Parents will know from our letter of 7 July 2010 that as from September 2010 for health and safety reasons students in Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) will not be allowed to leave the school site at lunchtime. Students in Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11) will only be allowed to leave the school site at lunchtime with parental permission. Parents have been asked to sign and return a consent form and a lunchtime pass will be issued to these students. Replacement passes for students will only be available on a twice termly basis so students will be unable to leave the school site in the meantime Pasta King Pasta King will not be running as from Monday 12th July until the end of term. Alternatives will be available in the main dining hall. Lunchtime Changes as of September 2010 There will be some changes to our lunchtimes, starting September 2010. This will affect Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 and 9) and Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11) students slightly differently. Below are the relevant newsletters regarding the changes: Facebook Warning - Parents, Carers and Guardians It has come to the schools attention that an individual is using Facebook to act as an "Agony Aunt" to students, some of which attend Great Wyrley High School. The person is calling themselves "Aggie Agony Aunt". We are advising students, parents and carers to use the Facebook reporting system and the CEOP button to report this person because we have no way of verifying who they are. The CEOP button is available on the school website and is located on the left-hand side of this page. Thank you for your understanding and support.
